We have a vacancies at Sorell for one person to share a two bedroom unit with one other. This site enables a higher level of independence and autonomy than other shared accommodation options while still providing support at whatever level is actually needed. This is a new construction that has been designed to be energy efficient.
There is a good sized ensuite bathroom for both bedrooms in the unit ,plus a small combined dining and living area and a well equipped kitchen. The unit is fully furnished and includes all appliances including television. Residents are responsible for furnishing of bedrooms only.
There is a private entrance plus a connecting internal doorway to a common unit where support workers have their sleepover facilities. A shared laundry and a shared common lounge is also contained in this unit. Tenants pay a share of rent and utilities, plus a small maintenance fee to cover replacement of furniture and appliances as well general regular maintenance.
