This site enables a higher level of independence and autonomy than other shared accommodation options while still providing support at whatever level is actually needed. This is a new construction that has been designed to be energy efficient.
There is a good sized ensuite bathroom for both bedrooms in the unit ,plus a small combined dining and living area and a well equipped kitchen. The unit is fully furnished and includes all appliances including television. Residents are responsible for furnishing of bedrooms only.
There is a private entrance plus a connecting internal doorway to a common unit where support workers have their sleepover facilities. A shared laundry and a shared common lounge is also contained in this unit. Tenants pay a share of rent and utilities, plus a small maintenance fee to cover replacement of furniture and appliances as well general regular maintenance.
Claremont
We also have a vacancy at a large well-appointed and roomy 4 bedroom room (plus sleepover/office ) house at Claremont that is close to a Metro bus stop. There are two living areas with modern smart TVs plus a pleasant dining area and kitchen, sunroom and deck. The house has one large bathroom and two toilets.
3 males aged from 30’s to 60’s who have a variety of interests including Aussie Rules football would be sharing with a 4th person at this house. Tenants pay a share of rent and utilities, plus a small maintenance fee to cover replacement of furniture and appliances as well general regular maintenance. They also pay for a share of access to a late model vehicle that is used to transport people to day programs, other activities and appointments.
